Rather than being a faceless "tax'n'accounts" factory
the ethos is to provide solid personal service for all types of
businesses and be the first point of professional contact for small businesses owners whether your question is a technical bookkeeping one or to act as a sounding board for your concerns over your business strategy.
Although your accountant's core service is always
going to be the completion of your tax returns and accounts, we
are skilled to act on a far broader management basis. Tax efficiency
is one consideration, but we can also work as a virtual Finance
Director, giving advice and practical assistance on wider issues
such as business direction and development, credit control, accounting systems, investment evaluations,
PAYE and staffing issues and more.
Unlike many practitioners our principle James
Smith has considerable experience working as an accountant in industry so we have seen both sides and do not just have a blinkered "practice" view that is unfortunately not uncommon in our industry.
